Fitness Favorites
/Today I wanted to share some of my go to favorite pieces that help me stay motivated on my fitness game! I realized for me, the clothes I wear really help make or break my workout mojo. I love colored sports bras and tops, but when it comes to my pants and shoes, I keep it simple; black, black, & more black!
1. Adidas Ultraboost sneakers have been my saving grace! It’s taking me so long to finally give in to buy these because they’re a bit pricey, but it is totally worth the Monday! I don’t normally train outside but I have gone for long walks and this have the best support in my opinion. If you know me, my feet/ankles have always been a problem and finding good shoes for a work out have not been easy. These shoes are also great for indoor training. I use these especially on legs days and OH MY GOSH. Game changer for sure.
2. My Fitbit has become my #1 workout buddy. I used to actually hate fitness trackers and would be so annoyed when people would talk about their steps for the day. Now, I’m one of those people. The Fitbit I currently have is the Alta but they have now replaced it with the Inspire HR. I went ahead and linked that one because they do look very similar! I really do prefer the sleekness of the band and how nothing really pokes out. It simple and provides everything I need to keep track of my work out.
3. Since I’m a commuter, I try my best to not have too many bags when I travel to and from work. I have notice backpacks work better for me and have always caused less pain when I am walking to and from my office. My Patagonia backpack is probably one of my favorite bags I have ever owned. This bag has a ton of space and pockets for my work items plus my gym clothes. What is also nice is the fact I can wear this in the rain and it runs right off! Cloth bags in Seattle are a hit or miss because they can be very cute and stylish, but when the rain comes, it gets soaked! I use the 25 ML size but for those who may have a but more to carry, they do go up to the 30 ML. This also comes in a tone of fun colors but of course, I prefer the all black look :)
4. Fabletics carries probably some of my most favorite workout pants. Their high rise leggings are such a great fit. They fit my body like a glove and really do hold its place. I mainly do weight training and cardio and never have to worry about pulling them. Another great thing about them is the material! I don’t have to worry about my butt showing when I'm doing squats or deadlifts!
5. Zella makes great work out clothes and their sports bras are awesome. I find a majority of my sports bras at Nordstrom Rack! I know some bras can be way too expensive and may not do the job. Nordstrom rack has these bras for really cheap and I think are really comfortable and flattering. I have them in a few colors. Since I don’t do too many high intensity workouts, the light to medium support really works for me.
6. Music is a plus for a great work out and having the right gear for it is crucial. I have a new found love for truly wireless heads phone. I came across the JLAB JBUD Air true wireless headphones when I lost my previous ones and needed to get a pair fast. I didn’t want to drop too much money at the time and came across these! They were only $50 and to be honest, totally worth it. I actually had to buy my separate foam inserts because I prefer that over silicone but it’s all about preference. At first I had to get use to not having my wires around my neck but now, I can’t turn back. They have a portable charging case so you’ll never have to worry about whether or not they’re ready to use before your work out..
7. If you’re still not sure about the truly wireless ear buds, my pair that I lost but loved, were Jaybird X3. I got these as a deal on Black Friday a year or so back and they were great. The sound was fantastic and they had the wire clip that you can attach to your shirt so you still felt like you had it. These are a little bit more speedy, but I will say they are worth the $$$.
8. On top of Fabletics having great leggings, their tops are also just as amazing. I prefer to work out in tanks just because if I get sweaty, I don’t get too bad of pit stains. I also really like the high neck tank tops because if I bend down or have to lay chest down on a machine, my chest doesn’t pop out. I have so many tops from them but I’ll go ahead and link one of them. Their tanks come in so many cute fun colors.
